  • Kristin Peoples is a dynamic and dedicated professional driven by a passion for creating a meaningful impact on her community. As the Director of Member Relations and Engagement at the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise, demonstrated through her successful track record of developing relationships with executives from Fortune 500 companies, midsize firms, and small business owners alike.

     

    Kristin’s role involves listening carefully, nurturing connections, and crafting strategic plans tailored to the unique needs of each business. Her ability to partner effectively with Chamber members enables them to maximize their membership benefits, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.

     

    In addition to her member engagement responsibilities, Kristin manages and leads the volunteer Ambassador Council. This group is instrumental in welcoming and onboarding new members and celebrating new businesses within the community through scheduled ribbon-cuttings.

     

    A native of Wilmington, NC, Kristin is deeply committed to her hometown and the impactful work of the Wilmington Chamber. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University and a Master of Public Administration from UNC – Wilmington. Additionally, she has completed her Certification in Membership & Revenue Development from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). Kristin is actively involved in her community, serving as a member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
