New Hanover County Board of Education Candidate Forum (Primary Election)

The Wilmington Chamber's Public Policy Committee monitors and advises the Chamber on legislative and regulatory issues at the local, state, and federal levels and promotes the interests of our membership. 
 
In February, the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce invites our members to join us for an opportunity to hear firsthand from the candidates pursuing elected positions on the New Hanover County Board of Education prior to the primary election on March 5.
 
The following Democratic candidates will be participating in our candidate forum:
 
Jerry Jones, Jr.
Judy Justice
Tim Merrick
Cynthia Munoz (Dropped out)
 
The following Republican candidates will be participating in our candidate forum:

Kimberly McDuffie Murphy (Absent)
David Perry

ATTENDANCE & COST

There is no cost to attend. There will be no virtual option to participate.

8:00 - 8:15 am – Check-in and Networking
8:15 – 8:55 am – Democratic candidates respond to questions
8:55 – 9:00 am – Break
9:00 - 9:45 am – Republican candidates respond to questions

Please arrive early and come prepared. Allow ample time for travel, parking, check-in, and seating. If you're not feeling well, please stay home.

ARRIVAL
 
After parking, find your way to the lobby for check-in. Registered attendees will receive a name tag that will serve as your ticket before being directed to the ballroom. A coat check will be available near registration.
