2022 - 155th Annual Meeting
The Wilmington Chamber’s 155th Annual Meeting is typically the crowning event of our year, and we are looking forward to joining many of our members in person once again on February 17, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.
Historically, this event has drawn more than 300 business and community leaders for a celebration of the chamber’s many achievements over the last year. Given the many challenges businesses have faced in the last few years, we are looking forward to celebrating our region’s thriving economy as well.
This year, our event will kick off at 5:00 pm with a reception that includes beer, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and time to network before the show begins at 5:30 pm. At our event, you’ll hear a keynote speech from Dr. Jose V. Sartarelli, Chancellor of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, as well as insight from our region’s top business leaders and community partners. We’ll also be recognizing this year’s Duke Energy Lifetime Achievement in Business Award winner, Bob Warwick. The evening will end with an after-party featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and more time to connect with your fellow Chamber investors. We hope to see you Tuesday, February 17, at the Wilmington Convention Center.
The deadline to sponsor this event is Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Tickets are available to chamber members for $75 each and to nonmembers for $85 each. The deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

BOB WARWICK BIO
Warwick has played an important role as a businessman and civic leader in Wilmington for more than 50 years. While managing a successful accounting practice and counseling some of Wilmington's most influential business leaders over three generations, he also often worked behind the scenes to support nonprofits in our community. He has served as president of the Wilmington Chamber, two terms as chair of the UNCW Board of Trustees, eight years on the University of North Carolina Board of Governors, and was past president and longtime board member of the YMCA. Most notably, he worked with other prominent businessmen to attract new businesses, including GE, DuPont, and Corning Incorporated under The Committee of 100, of which he was co-founder and chairman. The group, renamed Wilmington Business Development, continues to bring new business to the city today.
