Wilmington City Council Candidate Forum
The Wilmington Chamber's Public Policy Committee monitors and advises the Chamber on legislative and regulatory issues at the local, state, and federal levels and promotes the interests of our membership.
In October, the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce along with our partners, BASE, Cape Fear REALTORS and Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association, invite our members to join us for an opportunity to hear firsthand from the 2023 Wilmington City Council candidates prior to the general election on Tuesday, November 7.
The following candidates have been invited to attend our candidate forum:

- Salette Andrews
- Kathryn Bruner
- Marlowe Foster
- David Joyner
- John D. Lennon
- Kevin Spears
The meeting is open to members of the four partner organizations only. There is no cost to attend. There will be no virtual option to participate.
Coffee and pastries will be served.
AGENDA
8:00 - 8:30 am – Check-in and Networking
8:30 - 9:45 am – Candidates respond to questions focused on the local economy, job growth and economic development
Please arrive early and come prepared. Allow ample time for travel, parking, check-in, and seating. If you're not feeling well, please stay home.

Complimentary parking is available at the Terraces at Sir Tyler
ARRIVAL
After parking, find your way to the lobby for check-in. Registered attendees will receive a name tag that will serve as your ticket before being directed to the ballroom. A coat check will be available near registration.
