2024 - Leadership Wilmington Alumni Council Day of Service with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC
This event is open to Leadership Wilmington Class of 2024 and all Leadership Wilmington Alumni.
The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina (the Food Bank) is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for our friends and neighbors facing hunger in 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina for over 40 years. The Food Bank is an affiliate member of Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger relief charity.
Join fellow alumni this Valentine's Day to GIVE BACK of your time to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina from 1:00-4:00pm. Projects include:
- Sorting bulk produce into family size bags.
- Sorting donations from retail stores such as Food Lion and Harris Teeter.
- Cleaning and bagging drink pouches.
- Sorting and inspecting food drive donations from individuals and corporations.
