Be a Campaign 2013 Volunteer

Be a volunteer…get a free lunch!

Every Thursday during the Chamber’s 12-week-long Campaign 2013, member restaurants and other businesses will host a complimentary luncheon for Campaign volunteers. The luncheons are a time to review Campaign progress, network with your peers, win some great raffle prizes and, of course, enjoy a great meal!

So volunteer or recruit your company team NOW and you can have a free lunch and so much more.

What’s Campaign 2013 all about?

Campaign Purpose
To finance new and existing programs, projects and publications to ensure the Chamber is able to meet its mission. How? Through an all-volunteer campaign to attract new members, secure sponsors for events and programs, and advertising sales for Chamber publications. The goal is $200,000 and the Campaign kicks off on April 4th at Aubriana’s.

Campaign Organization
The 2013 campaign is overseen by Campaign Chair Beth Quinn (First Citizens Bank). There are 7 Division Leaders who support 4 to 5 teams, plus a team made up of the Chamber Board of Directors. Many of the teams consist of employees of one company, and some are a combination of companies.

Campaign Volunteer Responsibilities
Every volunteer strives to meet their goals for selling new memberships, event sponsorships, and advertising.

What Volunteers Receive for Their Efforts
There are many benefits to being a Campaign volunteer, including incentives from sales, professional recognition for yourself and your business, networking opportunities, raffle prizes, complimentary lunches and more.
